This is an overview of the ethical stance we take in our work

The Trustees of Feral Cat Welfare respect and care for all animals and the environment, and therefore will make an effort to use eco-friendly goods and services wherever possible.  We also reject animal testing for any purpose.  We order our stationery through the Green Stationery Company and cleaning products from ethical superstore.  Our cat shelters from Mr Snugs are designed to be very long lasting and blend in with the environment.

The Veterinary Practices we will be working with are Tweed House Veterinary Surgery in Yeadon, Leeds, and The Baildon Veterinary Centre where the veterinary surgeons have a wealth of experience working with feral and nervous cats, and Tower Wood Veterinary Group in Cookridge, Leeds, who are specialists in complementary therapies.

Our Trustees are themselves members of or contribute to The Dr Hadwen Trust for Humane Research (funding alternatives to animal research), the Brooke Hospital for Animals, Compassion in World Farming, League Against Cruel Sports, Greenpeace, Oxfam, NSPCCNational Trust, English Heritage, The Ark Animal Rescue (Lincolnshire), Plan International, HIPPO, International Wildlife Coalition TrustThe Woodland Trust and PETA.
